Skywrite ends 2009 with a bowling extravaganza

To celebrate the end of another good year, the Skywriters headed to All Star Lanes in Holborn for an evening’s bowling extravaganza.

Bowling shoes were donned, pins positioned and gloves tightened for a contest of wills that would soon discover who was to be the evening’s kingpin.

After a valiant struggle with Cat "Curve Ball" Biggart, Dave “The Destroyer” Turnbull emerged as the evening's thunderball with 129 points.

Emma "Great Balls of Fire" Hazan commented: “Some practice may be needed before we turn professional.”
